Thematic workshop communications

Communication intentions must be sent in the form of a maximum 800 to 1500 word extended abstract (i.e. containing between 4,500 characters and 8,700 characters) and include the :

  • title of the paper
  • author(s) (with e-mail details)
  • issue(s) being addressed
  • research problems and questions
  • theoretical positioning
  • research methodology
  • main findings (expected or obtained)
  • bibliographical references

Communication intentions can be written in either French or English. They must be submitted to the conference website https://airmap2025.sciencesconf.org, operational from 1 November 2024) by 10 February 2025 at the very latest.

Papers may be submitted to any of the thematic workshops listed below (see workshop list). Alternatively, authors may choose not to direct their papers to a specific workshop, and address them to the #open in public management workshop, which is designed to host a variety of public management papers. The organizers will set up the workshops at a later date.

Please note: a paper may be submitted only once (in a single workshop). In addition, the number of different communication proposals is limited to 4 per author.

The full and final text of about 20 pages (40,000 characters maximum) must be submitted at https://airmap2025.sciencesconf.org, by 12 May 2025 at the very latest.

A prize for the best paper will be awarded during the conference.

NB : Proposed papers must not have been published prior to the date of submission. If a journal submission is in progress at the time a paper is being proposed to the conference, this must be specified in a footnote attached to the title page. If the paper has been entirely or partially presented at previous colloquia, conferences or research events, this must also be indicated in a footnote attached to the title page, identifying the context (type of event, location, date) where a previous presentation was made.


Doctoral workshop communications

The intention to present a paper at a doctoral workshop must be communicated in the form of an extended, 4,500 character abstract including the:

  • title of the paper
  • author (with e-mail address)
  • thesis supervisor
  • thesis subject
  • thesis starting date
  • doctoral project (and challenges thereof)
  • research problems and questions
  • theoretical positioning
  • research methodology
  • main findings (expected or obtained)
  • bibliographical references

Intentions to communicate doctoral workshop papers can be written in French or English. They must be submitted at https://airmap2025.sciencesconf.org by 10 February 2025 at the very latest.

The full and final text of about 20 pages (40,000 characters maximum) must be submitted at https://airmap2025.sciencesconf.org, by 12 May 2025 at the very latest.

Valorisation

Several types of valorisation are being envisioned for conference papers. Papers selected by the conference’s scientific committee may be proposed for publication in the following journals (depending on specific editorial policies):

  • Politiques et Management Public
  • Recherche et Cas en Sciences de Gestion
  • Revue Française d’Administration Publique
